As you level up, these skills will give you additional perks that will help with that skill. This also adds a new aspect to your Minecraft server to help get your players addicted to your game and play more!
Stop the griefing with just one plugin! GriefPrevention is targeted at survival-based servers and allows players to claim areas using a golden shovel. After an area is claimed, other players will not be able to place, remove, or use blocks unless trusted by the claim owner!
GriefPrevention takes so much stress out of running a Minecraft server by cutting down on the amount of destroyed player builds and stolen items! It is by far the best anti-griefing plugin available today, and it is a must-have on every Survival server!
LagAssist is the next generation of lag reduction for your Minecraft server. It can do everything from improve hoppers with its chunk hopper setup to limit entities to stack mobs efficiently to even optimizing redstone and spawners. If your server is lagging, this is a great asset to it. We personally use LagAssist on our network server, and it helps a ton when it comes to chunk overloading, entity overloading, hopper optimization, redstone limiting, and even TPS notifications.
We do recommend pairing this with Spark to get the most data you possibly can from TPS on your server. Truthfully, the best thing about LagAssist is that everything we have mentioned is completely customizable and can be very, very easily turned off.
If you don't want a feature, just turn it off. If you thing a feature it too sensitive tweak its settings to make it less sensitive. You really do have complete control over what LagAssist does. Have you ever wanted to add custom commands to your Minecraft server? If so, this is the plugin for you.
MyCommand will allow you to add all kinds of different custom commands to your server. From alias commands that just run other commands from your server to custom commands that do multiple things at one time. There are actually so many different things that can be done with MyCommand that we couldn't possibly list them all here.
Thus, go check it out your self, and start adding your very own commands to your Minecraft server! Dynmap is one of my absolute favorite Spigot plugins. Another nice feature is you can display things on the map such as player locations, player protection locations, and points of interest.
This plugin is mainly used to set locks on doors and chests. It has many useful features, including setting passwords and modifying who is able to open and close a specific door or chest. Admins can specify exactly who is able to make these locks. LWC is able to prevent griefing on your server, but you should also have other anti-griefing plugins as this plugin only protects the door or chest itself. Players are still able to break blocks around a door or chest without the use of other plugins.
I thought Mojang put a ban on that? The EULA applies to server owners charging players for content on servers. It is allowed to sell other content such as plugins, maps, and mods. Minecraft Automatic Farm Guide Updated Best Minecraft Enchantments for Everything Updated Since a lot of popular plugins don't work without Vault, it should be one of the first Bukkit plugins you download.
This plugin gives the server admins the ability to set and change which commands specific players are able to use. It works entirely in-game, so there's no need to edit configuration files and restart the server every time you want to give or remove, permissions from someone.
While bPermissions is a powerful tool for server admins, it is one of the many Bukkit plugins that require Vault.
So make sure to grab that first. Essentials provides Minecraft server admins with over useful commands and tons of features like kits for new players. It was one of the most useful Bukkit plugins available, but it ceased development prior to the release of Minecraft 1. EssentialsX is a fork of the original Essentials plugin that runs on newer versions of Minecraft.
It requires Vault for some features to work, but it provides all of the same utility as the original Essentials Bukkit plugin. WorldEdit provides you with powerful tools to shape and change the landscape of your Minecraft server. Rather than placing individual blocks, it allows you to change every single block within a defined volume to whatever type of block you like. Additional commands make it easy to build walls, copy and paste structures, and even undo mistakes.
WorldEdit is also required by some other plugins. DynMap is like Google Maps for your Minecraft server. It creates a highly detailed overhead view of your world that anyone can access from a web browser, and it updates in real-time, so you can even see where each player is in the world. The main purpose of WorldGuard is to protect specific areas of your server. You can use this plugin to set which players are allowed to destroy or modify blocks within specified boundaries, which makes it impossible for anyone to destroy your hard work.
It also ties into DynMaps, which allows you to see exactly what parts of your world have been assigned. Multiverse is a Bukkit plugin that makes it extremely easy to host multiple worlds on a single Minecraft server. Admins are able to freely create, destroy, and teleport between worlds. You can even have survival, peaceful, and creative worlds to jump back and forth between.
Add-ons for Multiverse also allow you to create portals for regular players to move between worlds without the help of an admin. If you have a large server, and you need more space to grow, Multiverse makes it easy. It's also great if you want to have multiple different worlds to explore, a separate world for testing things out, or even a basic flat world to strip mine.
If you maintain a Discord server for your players to communicate outside of the game, DiscordSRV is a game-changer. It uses a bot on your Discord server to announce when players log in or out of your Minecraft server, and it can even pass chat back and forth between Discord and Minecraft.
Chat Control is a powerful chat management plugin.
